What is Operational Analytics?

Operational Analytics is our data-driven decision-making solution for understanding future operating conditions of eVTOL, vertiports, and drones. To do this, we analyze large amounts of historical weather data (typically 5 years or more) and the impact of weather conditions on flight operations to understand future service availability.

Some facts about OA

Weather data is evaluated on an hourly basis, usually 2018 – 2023.

For one location,
approx. 800,000 data points are analyzed

If in a given hour one parameter is beyond the limit of nominal it is considered moderate or severe

EUREKA – European Key solutions for vertiports and UAM

EUREKA – SESAR Fast Track

As part of the SESAR funded Fast Track project to develop Vertiport and eVTOL solutions, Unisphere is developing an advanced analysis tool to support Vertiport procedure design. The tool addresses the challenge of achieving 95% track usability as required by EASA prototype regulations. Depending on the environment, vertiports are often limited in the number of approach/departure tracks. The tool is able to automatically evaluate whether the planned tracks achieve 95% or more and provide a detailed understanding of the operations, i.e. insight into how often certain tracks can be avoided that are not desirable due to factors such as noise reduction or safety.
