Unisphere engages Matternet for autonomous Drone delivery above the skies of Zurich
A big step has been achieved for Matternet, Daimler and Siroop within the Vans & Drones project in September 2017. Closing the efficiency gap of the last mile the Vans & Drones concept has been successfully proven its capabilities from technological to certification hurdles to operate BVLOS drones (beyond visual line of sight) autonomously and in urban areas.
With the expertise in flight management and operation Unisphere supports Matternet receiving their approval for their demonstrating missions from the Swiss Aviation Authorities.
Today, Unisphere congratulates Matternet achieving more than 1,000 kilometers flight BVLOS.
